Bloom is a Canadian-based financial company that aims to deliver simple, seamless financial solutions to Canadian homeowners.

With only Google search and Bing activity in place, Bloom needed guidance on taking their marketing activity to the next level and quickly seizing growth opportunities.

The Solution

Bloom's attempts to advertise its mortgage product risked rejection as their boosted posts didn't meet Meta's Advertising Standards. After closely examining their activity, our paid experts created a robust plan to improve the current campaigns, increase performance and avoid other setbacks. Here’s how it went:

First, our paid team restructured Bloom’s search campaigns to improve ad relevance. They built additional keywords and negatives and tidied up Bloom’s geo-targeting.

Our creatives conducted a competitor analysis to understand what works and what doesn't in the loan market.

Based on the results, they created, tested and ran a series of Meta carousel ads. We paired the Meta activity with Google, crafting new, conversion-focused ad copy and rolling out the content using Performance Max campaigns.

After analysing the data from Bloom’s existing landing pages, we identified the best-performing one and directed all ad campaign traffic. This teamed with the Performance Max campaigns, showed a significant positive impact on the initial CPL.

The Result

It didn’t take long for Bloom to see results once we took charge of their marketing activity. After enhancing search campaigns and introducing new performance campaigns, Bloom increased lead generation by 100% and reduced CPL from $320 to $150 per lead. 

In just three months, they got over 2000 leads, reaching a record of 700 leads in October. By launching and optimising Bloom’s Meta activity, we reduced CPA by 60%.
